Since our clients "own" their own httpd daemon, they are free to install counters any way that they see fit.

We include instructions on how to install a simple text based counter in our manual. This counter is effected using server side includes, and is described in Section 5.4.4 of the online Administrator's Handbook.

Some graphical "odomoter" style counters which use the "src" element in the "img" tag are also configurable. The following is a list of some of the graphical counters that have been used by our clients:
